I’m Jenny — a creative on a mission to reimagine the relationship between people and the natural world through art and design.
Working at the intersection of both disciplines, I blend visual storytelling, strategy, and emotion to create work that feels both meaningful and impactful.
DESIGNER BY TRADE,
ARTIST AT HEART
With a professional background in graphic design and an MA in sustainable design, I'm able to integrate strategy and systems thinking with the creative intuition I was born with. My lifelong love for art feeds soul and meaning into my work, while visual strategy and sustainable design methodologies hone its purpose and effectiveness.
FINDING PURPOSE IN SUSTAINABLE DESIGN
As I pursued art and design during my undergraduate education, I was also beginning to learn about the global climate crisis. For me, this formed an ideological chasm between the career I was pursuing and what I knew I needed my attention.

Through the Minneapolis College of Art + Design’s Master of Arts in Sustainable Design program, I was presented a bridge between those two dissonant worlds. Design for sustainability, biomimicry, and many more frameworks and processes helped to evolve my work into one that has the potential to benefit people and planet.
Sustainable design presents an empowering perspective of the unique capabilities of creatives: utilizing the power of design thinking to solve real, pressing problems, and utilizing the designer's strength in visual principles and narrative to make those problems, and their solutions, accessible to all.
As a designer, I stand by the First Thing's First manifesto, originally written by Ken Garland in 1967 – updated by modern designers in 2020:
