Deep Green Zine is a publication dedicated to helping Hampton Roads artists and creative professionals align their work with sustainability goals for the local community and beyond. The publication is an extension of the Seven Cities Sustainability Collective: a concept for a collective of artists, creative professionals, and anyone else interested in envisioning and working towards a more sustainable coastal community through art and design.

As a creative leadership initiative, Deep Green uses the highly accessible and creative outlet of 'zines' (mini magazines) to bring awareness to the topic of sustainability and its relevance to our community and artists.
Spectrum of Action
As a source of guidance for creatives on their paths to a more sustainable practice, Deep Green provides examples of ecoart and ecologically themed works, ecological prose, and visuals. The action spectrum (left) which help artists understand different methods of integrating sustainability into their practice.
